Celebrate St. Joseph's Day!

In an Apostolic Letter, Pope Francis declared from December 8, 2020 to December 8, 2021 the Year of St. Joseph! Because of that, this March 19 is even more special! March 19 is known to many as St. Joseph’s Day. Many Italians celebrate it creating their own St. Joseph’s alter (or table) filled with food for family and friends to join their festivities. Don’t worry, you don’t need to do that if it’s your first time celebrating the Italian culture! This year, make Mamacita’s San Giuseppe Pasta from our cookbook Don’t Cut the Basil: Five Generations of Authentic Italian Recipes. FUN FACT: March 19 is Nonna Josie’s birthday!
